POOL RULES
(See By-Laws and Constitution by clicking the links on the left)
- The pool manager is
authorized to: manage the operation of the Club, supervise all
other employees of the Club, and enforce all pool rules. Under
supervision of the manager, the lifeguards are also authorized to
enforce these rules.
- Unless otherwise posted,
the pool will be open during the following hours, weather
permitting: Memorial Day through Labor Day 12:00 – 8:00 pm
- Use of the pool is strictly
prohibited when there is no lifeguard employed by the Club on duty
and in attendance, or at times other than regular hours or special
posted hours.
- Admission to the Club’s
premises may be denied anyone who has a contagious infection or is
under the influence of a foreign or intoxicating substance.
- Unsatisfactory conditions
concerning the operation of the Club’s facilities should be
brought to the attention of the pool manager, the lifeguards, or
Board of Directors.
- Every accident which occurs
on the Club’s premises should be reported immediately to the pool
manager or lifeguard.
ADMITTANCE
TO THE POOL
- All members must present
their membership cards to the gate attendant each time they enter
the pool.
- Duplicate cards may be
obtained from the pool manger if they are lost or destroyed. For a
small fee.
- Guest privileges at the
pool are as follows:
- Guests may be admitted to
the pool if accompanied by an adult member in good standing.
- Guest fees are $5.00 per
day if entering before 6:00 pm; $3.00 per person for entrance
after 5:00 pm.
*We have a no refund policy.
- Children under 12 years
of age cannot admit guests.
- Non-member children that
a member baby-sits may be admitted at guest rates.
- Arrangements should be
made in advance with the Membership Secretary if a babysitting
arrangement will occur on a regular basis.
- Members are responsible for
the conduct of their guests while they are at the Club.
- Members shall reimburse the
Club for any damages they or their guests cause to the Club’s
property.

Children 11 years of age and
younger will be admitted to the Club as follows:
Non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult (16 years or
older) who will be responsible for the child’s conduct and safety
for the duration of their stay.
Swimmers must be accompanied by a member 12 years of age or
older who will be responsible for the younger child at all times.
The child must demonstrate swimming ability by passing a test as
determined by the pool manager or lifeguards.
CONDUCT
- Diving into the pool is
only in designated areas.
- Running, pushing, rough
play, or towel snapping inside the fenced-in area of the pool is
prohibited.
- All persons entering the
pool must wear bathing/swim suits. Street clothes cannot be worn
in the water.
- Use of the wading pool is
restricted to children under the age of 8 years. The
parent/guardians of children using the wading pool must observe
and supervise them at all times.
- Swimming over or sitting on
the lane rope which defines the diving area is prohibited.
- Only one person is allowed
on the diving board or slide at any one time. Observe posted slide
rules.
- All persons must vacate the
pool area whenever a safety check is announced by the manager or
lifeguards, such as during he presence of thunder/lightning.
- Only lifeguards are
permitted on the lifeguard stands/chairs.
- Members/guests should not
talk excessively to or distract lifeguards while they are on duty.
- Inner tubes or rafts are
permitted in the large pool area only during special parties or at
the discretion of the pool manager or lifeguards on duty.
“Noodles” or similar devices are permitted if the pool crowd is
manageable as determined by the manager or lifeguards.
- Snorkels, fins, and
softballs are permitted in the pool at the discretion of the
manager or lifeguards.
- Alcoholic beverages are not
permitted on the premises of the Club.
- Food or beverages are not
permitted in either pool.
- All refuse, including
discarded smoking materials, must be placed in the trash
receptacles. Any person discarding butts or other smoking
materials in grass or unapproved receptacles will be subject to
expulsion from pool grounds.
- Glass containers are not
permitted on the pool premises.
- Cars are to be parked only
in the designated areas in the parking lots.
- Animals/pets are not
permitted on the pool premises.
- Basketball/Wall ball will
be played only in designated areas in the playground area.
PERSONAL
CONDUCT
- Every member must observe
these posted rules for the pool. Each member must also help
maintain the Club facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Everyone admitted to the
Club’s premises must conduct himself/herself in a responsible
manner. Running, rough games, excessive horseplay, wrestling, and
all unruly behavior is prohibited. Exhibition of such conduct as
determined by the manager and lifeguards will result in expulsion
from the premises. Repeated offenses will result in permanent
suspension from the Club’s membership/premises.
- Any person who knowingly
violates any of the above rules may be refused admittance to the
premises. Intention violation of the rules may result in expulsion
premises. Repeated violations will result in temporary suspension
or permanent banishment from the Club.
- Any person who
intentionally damages Club property or violates trespass laws wit
respect to the Club premises may be permanently banished from the
Club as determined by the Board of Directors.
POOL SAFETY
AND PROTECTION OF PROPERTY
- Every reasonable precaution
has been taken to ensure the safety of the members and their
guests. Everyone who uses the Club’s facilities does so at his/her
own risk. Any observed unsafe hazards or behavior should be
reported immediately to the pool manager or lifeguards on duty.
- The Club will not be
responsible for either the loss of or damage to any personal
property of the members or guests while it is located on the
Club’s premises.
- In cases of medical
emergency, the Club reserves the right to call for an ambulance or
other emergency medical personnel if a child is involved and a
parent/guardian is not present. All associated fees shall be the
responsibility of the parent/guardian.
